Can I install Deck Flush myself?Yes you can. You must have some basic tools and be somewhat handy with them. We offer step by step instructions and some videos that show the installation for your review. We cannot guarantee a smooth installation process if you have exisiting issues with old or torn screens or rusty or broken bottom rails. We will be happy to answer specific questions but please review the installation guides and call us as needed.
-
Do I need a permit to install Deck Flush? We always suggest that you follow your local laws and regulations. In most applications the existing lower rail anchor bolts will be left in place. In the event that the location you pick for the best location requires that you remove an existing anchor bolt then a new anchor bolt must be installed on either side of your new Deck Flush no matter what size unit you choose. Anchor bolts can be purchased along with your Deck Flush or at any local hardware store.
-
Can the Deck Flush door open inward? No, all Deck Flush units are designed to only open toward the outside of the enclosure. This keeps critters from entering from the outside of your enclosuer.

Can I install Deck Flush on a second floor location?Deck Flush was initially designed for 1st floor applications. As with everything you must follow the rules of your apartment complex, condominium or rental space to determine if Deck Flush can be installed above a 1st floor application. In a home that you own, it would be your decision to install the Deck Flush to suit your needs. Be curtious to your neighbors when making any installation of a Deck Flush. We are currently working on a flume to extend the discharge of the water/debris that exit the Deck Flush. Check back for this item.
